Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to this journal. All submitted manuscripts will first be assessed by the editor to determine their suitability in terms of the journal’s aims, focus and scope. Manuscripts deemed suitable will be forwarded to the peer review process before a decision is made on whether to accept or reject them for publication.

Prior to submitting a manuscript, authors are responsible for obtaining permission for all material included in the article, such as photographs, documents, data, and other appendices. All authors listed in the manuscript must consent to their names being included as authors of the article. Where necessary, the research must obtain approval from the relevant ethics committee in accordance with the laws and regulations of the country in which the research is conducted.

The editor reserves the right to reject a manuscript outright (desk rejection) if it does not meet the journal’s minimum standards of scientific quality. Therefore, authors must ensure that the research design, scientific argumentation and structure of the manuscript are presented clearly and in an academic manner. The title of the article must be concise and informative, whilst the abstract must be able to summarise the entire content of the research independently. This is intended to increase the article’s chances of receiving a favourable assessment from the reviewers.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submitted manuscripts must meet the following requirements:

1.     The submitted manuscript complies with the requirements set out in the Author Guidelines.

2.     The manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration or review by another journal.

3.     All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

4.     All tables and figures have been numbered and clearly labelled.

5.     The authors have obtained permission to publish all photographs, datasets and other material included in the manuscript.

 

Copyright Notice

Authors submitting manuscripts to Al-Himmah: Journal of Islamic Education (JPAI) declare that the submitted article is an original work, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration by any other journal. Copyright of the article remains with the author, but the author grants the journal the right to publish and distribute the article for academic purposes and the advancement of knowledge. The entire content of the article, including the use of data, images, and other supporting materials, is the sole responsibility of the author. By completing the manuscript submission process, the author is deemed to have read and agreed to the copyright terms applicable to this journal.
