About the Journal

Eshraq: Journal of Islamic Studies is an open-access journal published by PT Episteme Research Academy. This journal contains textual and empirical research on Islamic education with an interdisciplinary approach that includes philosophy, theology, Sufism, law, history, literature, art, sociology, and anthropology. Its main focus is the study of Islamic education and Muslim society in various philosophical, social, cultural, and intellectual dimensions, both locally and globally.

With articles published in English and Arabic and reviewed through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, Eshraq consistently maintains academic quality in both content and presentation. Its primary focus is on Islam and Muslim societies, examined through philosophical, educational, theological, social, cultural, and intellectual dimensions in both local and global contexts.

Published three times a year, Eshraq serves as a medium for the exchange of ideas, methodologies, and research findings.
